Lingaya’s Institute of Management & Technology for Women (LIMATW) was established in 2008 by “Lingaya’s Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha” in the memory of great freedom fighter Late Shri. Gadde Lingaya. Shri Gadde Lingaya sacrificed his life for the sake of Indian Independence and bestowed his service to his motherland. LIMATW has now been converted into a Co-Ed Institute w.e.f. 2012 in the name & style of Lingaya’s GVKS Institute of Management & Technology. Since its very foundations are based on the dreams of a noble visionary son of India, its singular objective and mission is to facilitate and to promote studies, research and extension work with a focus on professional education in the emerging areas in the disciplines of engineering, technology, management, computer sciences, etc and also to achieve excellence in these and related fields, thereby to equip the students to become effective professionals with career prospects to meet the emerging global and industrial needs of the society and nation in the 21st Century. Besides imparting knowledge needed for profession in technical field by carefully planned instruction and guidance for self learning in both formal and informal modes, the Institute continuously monitors the progress of the students through Faculty Counsellors. The Institute has a well set system of interaction with parents vis-a-vis academic achievements of their wards. The Institute has excellent rapport with Industry through its Training & Placement Cell. The Placement Cell works in co-ordination with the students giving them directions and resources to acquire necessary skills to secure their dream jobs. The institute’s motto is to create a well disciplined technical manpower by inculcating in them ethical, social and moral values through well structured “Value Added Courses” resulting in their overall development of personality.
